My intent is to continue to grow and operate the business for the long term. Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the opportunity to be a leader & manager in a variety of settings. These range from starting as a Production Supervisor at a manufacturing facility to more recently leading teams at a large strategy consulting firm. Having family that operated these types of businesses, I’ve had a good view into the excitement and challenges that go along with running them. Upon graduating with a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin, I spent the first few years of my career as an Engineer and Production Supervisor with Cargill. I led a team of technicians and was responsible for hitting production and operating targets. After a couple years in a plant, I was looking to transition to a more traditional business role to gain a better understanding of how to run a company. As part of that transition, I went back to school to get an MBA from Harvard Business School. Following that, I worked for the Boston Consulting Group in the Minneapolis office, focusing primarily on the Industrial Goods and Healthcare sectors. In our free time, my wife, Morgan, and I enjoy spending time outside. You can usually find us on the lake, biking, skiing, or watching a Vikings game.
